Koulnoue Village

Close to Koulnoué and Tiendanite tribal villages, the Linderalique rocks and the famous “Brooding Hen”, the Koulnoué Village is just 10kms from Hienghène, set in the heart of a coconut plantation by the water’s edge.

The centre for culture on the East Coast and the birthplace of Jean-Marie Tjibaou, the Hienghène region abounds with rich natural scenery and a strong Kanak culture.

The Koulnoué Village has a bar, boutique, lounge area and a meeting/seminar room.

The Koulnoué Village’s 50 bungalows (maximum 4 guests) are equipped with living room, bathroom and private terrace overlooking the lagoon. All bungalows have both air-conditioning and ceiling fan, tea/coffee making-facilities, fridge, safe-deposit box and television with cable channels.

A free Wi-Fi Internet connection is available to guests in the bar area. Why not experience the true authenticity of sleeping in one of 11 traditional thatched huts (maximum 4-8 guests, depending on the hut). Each hut has a ceiling fan, tea/coffee-making facilities, fridge and television with cable channels (communal showers and toilets).

The buffets at the Koulnoué Village are renowned for their abundance and variety. Try delicious local produce in a unique and unforgettable setting.
